Please pick up after your dog – and/or report dog fouling incidents!
During the coronavirus pandemic there has been an increase in incidents of dog fouling.
Our Canterbury City Councillor, Cllr Georgina Glover, has taken this up within CCC on our behalf, and we’re hoping to get some signs for the village and also confirmation that we have permission to put them up. We would encourage residents to report dog mess incidents to Canterbury Environment Company 01227 947 860 who are obliged to deal with these incidents.
Alternatively report items, such as litter, dog fouling, problems or overflowing litter bins and/or dog bins, online at https://www.canterbury.gov.uk/info/20008/environmental_problems/119/keeping_the_district_clean For dog fouling, this online form can also be used to tell CCC about repeat offenders. If CCC catch them they will be given a fine of £80.
| A reminder – did you know? dog waste can be put into ordinary black bins too – not necessarily just the red dog-bin only bins. Please bag it and bin it! |
