Reopening Manston Airport – 2026 Airspace Change Consultation 

RiverOak Strategic Partners Limited (‘RSP’) is working to redevelop and reopen Manston Airport as an air freight hub. RSP’s Stage 3 airspace change consultation is now live and will run until 22 June 2026. The consultation provides residents, communities and wider stakeholders with details of proposed changes to flight paths and airspace structure.

The consultation has several aspects to it, including a dedicated website where materials and proposals can be viewed and responses submitted: https://consultations.airspacechange.co.uk/manston-airport/manston-airport-consultation/.

RSP will also be running a series of in-person and online engagement events throughout April where attendees can view their proposals and talk to members of the project team. Consultees can provide feedback via the online portal, at the consultation events, or by printing the questionnaire and posting it to a Freepost address (FREEPOST 1616).

In person events:

  • Wednesday 22 April, San Clu Hotel, Victoria Parade, Ramsgate, CT11 8DT, 4PM-8PM
  • Saturday 25 April, Christ Church Hall,47 William St, Herne Bay, CT6 5AG, 1PM-5PM

Online events:

  • Tuesday 28 April – 6:30PM-7:30PM
  • Wednesday 6 May – 6:30-7:30PM
