As the country enters a period of mourning following the sad passing of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, the Parish Council has been advised to cancel the Parish Council meeting scheduled for Monday 19th September 2022. The next parish council meeting will be held on 17 October 2022. The Parish Council apologises for any inconvenience caused.
There is no update on the glamping site (Canterbury City Council enforcement has said they will not take any action until after the planning application is determined).
There is a new current planning application: CA/22/01158 – Walnut Tree Farm, Walnut Tree Lane, Westbere CT2 0HG – Agricultural building for use of drying fruit and vegetables. (this has a deadline of 30 September) If any residents have any comments on this application, please give them to the Clerk by 26 September 2022. The parish council is ratifying its representation to CCC for this application.
